Our professionals collaborate as part of a larger entity working toward the same goal of customer care and success, while still preserving their autonomy. This allows both the sole proprietors as well as The Blue Davenport, LLC to prosper and maintain a level of excellence in customer care, spa services, and professionalism.

The Blue Davenport, LLC was created to provide a spa environment that exhibits timeless elegance and tranquility unique to the area. Our goal is to develop a reputation that embodies a high quality spa experience reminiscent of larger markets, yet still delivering small-town value.

SPA ETIQUETTE

Arrive On Time

First time clients will need to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. If you show up past your appointment time, please be aware your service may be shortened due to time constraints in scheduling. If you are late and your appointment has to be shortened, you will still be expected to pay the full amount.

 

Cancelling Your Appointment

The Blue Davenport, LLC has a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within the 24 hours prior to your service, or do not show up, and we cannot fill that vacancy, you will be charged for the full amount. If you know you're not going to make it, let the spa know as soon as possible. Each service provider will operate under their own discretion in this matter.

 

Turn Off Your Cell Phone

Please refrain from using your cell phone to answer calls, check emails, texting, playing games, etc. Our spa is a place of relaxation and tranquility for both you and the people around you. You can always bring a book or magazine, especially for nail services.

 

Practice Good Hygiene 

Good hygiene will allow for a better treatment experience and your service provider will greatly appreciate it.

 

Give Feedback

During a massage, feel free to speak up on anything you would like to be different -- more pressure, less pressure, a blanket if you're cold, turning the table warmer off. Your comfort is the most important thing to all of our service providers, so please let us know how we can better assist you.

 

Stay Within Your Comfort Zone

Massage is usually done nude, but you are covered with a sheet at all times. Only the part of the body being massaged is exposed. You can keep your underwear on, but it might limit the therapist's access to muscles that could use some work.

 

To Talk or Not To Talk

You can talk during the treatment or be still, as you choose. The service provider should follow your lead. In general, try to use a quiet "spa voice" when you talk anywhere in the spa.

 

Getting Up From the Treatment

You don't have to jump up instantly, but the service provider likely has another client after you so don't linger too long.

 

Gratuity

Tipping is common, but not expected. A gratuity of 10-20% is typical. If you were given a gift certificate, ask if the tip was included, so you know how you would like to proceed.

 

Inappropriate Behavior

The Blue Davenport, LLC offers massage and spa services. None of our professionals will provide any sexual services or tolerate any behavior deemed inappropriate by that service professional. In the event of inappropriate behavior, a treatment will cease and the full amount will be charged.
